Located in Santa Clarita, this project converted an existing two-car garage into a 362-square-foot studio ADU, along with a 115-square-foot laundry room serving the main residence.

The objective was twofold: create an immediate income-producing unit while strengthening the long-term value and flexibility of the property.

Rather than expanding outward, this garage conversion leveraged the existing structure — minimizing construction complexity while maximizing return potential. The layout integrates a full kitchenette, private bathroom, defined sleeping area, and cohesive modern finishes.

Warm wood cabinetry, stainless appliances, and clean-lined fixtures elevate the space beyond typical expectations for a compact garage conversion. Despite its modest size, the studio feels intentional, comfortable, and highly functional.

The completed ADU now operates as a successful short-term rental while preserving flexibility for future multigenerational use.
